At Southwest Oklahoma Healing & Hyperbarics, we are more than a wound care clinic - we are a team grounded in dedication and purpose, providing care that transcends the traditional medical experience. We understand every wound carries a story and every patient deserves to feel seen, supported, and truly valued. Over time, our patients become like family and we’re honored to share in their journeys. Our practice was created to restore hope and healing through expert treatment, meaningful connection, and a committment to walk beside each patient on their journey toward healing.
Catherine Yore, PA-C, Owner
Education and Training
Catherine is a native of Moore, Oklahoma. Her path to wound care began with the completion of a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from East Central University before being accepted into the first class for Physician Assistant Studies at Oklahoma City University.
Professional Experience
Upon graduating with her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies and certificate in Medical Practice Management, Catherine accepted a position in urology and general surgery with Southwestern Medical Center and made the move to Lawton in 2018. Over the next three years, she picked up many of the procedural skills she would later utilize in wound care and started with post-operative wound management during patient follow-ups. When COVID-19 hit Oklahoma in 2020 and surgery census dropped significantly, a colleague reached out seeking coverage for the hospital’s wound care clinic that was suffering a shortage of provider availability. Catherine reluctantly agreed to cover one day per week, however within a month of learning the nature of this incredible specialty and the critical need for compassionate wound management in the community, Catherine left surgery and began a full-time career in wound care. After practicing for five years at The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbarics at Southwestern, she applied for and was granted Independent Practice Authority by the Oklahoma Board of Medicine and made the leap into the private practice arena with the goal to continue providing high-quality and compassionate wound care to the citizens of Southwest Oklahoma and the surrounding area.
Personal Life
Catherine is happily married with two incredible children and two miniature goldendoodles. Health, fitness, and weightlifting has been a major part of her adult life and she has served as a certified health and fitness coach as well as a nutritional specialist with a pro card in the body building industry. When she is not fulfilling her professional duties or trying to squeeze in a workout, Catherine enjoys waterfowl hunting, tending to her quail, reading, and attending her son’s sporting events. She and her husband are also avid travelers and never turn down the opportunity to explore a new culture.
Annamarie Phearson, Practice Manager
Annamarie Phearson was born and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma where her passion for community involvement began early through activities such as volunteering at nursing homes, participating in The Kickers, campaigning, and competing in scholarship pageants. She graduated from Lawton High School in 2003 and later moved to Oklahoma City to attend the University of Central Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Business Administration in 2009. In 2020, she completed her Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas.
Annamarie began her career in Sales and Marketing in 2011, working across both human and animal health industries. In 2021, she discovered her passion for wound care and stepped into the role of Director of Wound Care at The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbarics at Southwestern Medical Center. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in her community and ensuring that each individual receives the support they deserve.
Annamarie resides in Lawton with her husband, Shawn, their daughter, Addison, and their four dogs.
